While a Manganese Dendrite can be a rock with a single flower or feature on it (and be museum quality), a complete scene is nice as well.
Flowers and trees, with a mountain in the background, a sun coming up, a few clouds in the sky. Of course the dendrite doesn’t know it’s making a scene.
But after seeing some museum quality pieces, it’s hard to believe that some random chemical seeped though a rock millions of years ago, solidified, and created a masterpiece that would be hard (or impossible because of the tiny scale) to recreate.
But it’s true! ….. (we think).
